Hi Raju, This is an interesting topic. If the last three letters of your Product ID ends with OEM, then your license was issued by manufacturer. These type of licenses cannot be transferred to another computer because it is tied up with the device itself. Otherwise, if it doesn't end with OEM, your copy of Windows is from a retail merchant. These licenses can be transferred to another computer. Unless your device was issued by your company, or from an organization, then it could have been activated under Volume licensing. Thanks and regards Contact the dealer to ask why a Volume License key was used to activate WIndows 10 when you paid for a retail license. Volume License keys are only for organization or businesses and are administered by System Administrators. You can audit the Product key with and again contact MS Support via Get Help app in Start Menu to confirm if this is a VLK. I am confirmed of my product id now. I asked Microsoft technical support whether my product id belongs to OEM or Retail or Volume License Key. Microsoft technical support refused to ans. But is it a retail edition of WIndows installed now? If it's Enterprise it must be reinstalled as Home or Pro. For Home or Pro is can simply be reactivated with the retail Product Key.
